We need more people here at Musmakers. So I'm asking everyone that has friends and aquaintences that are musicians to encourage them to sign up and bring some life to this site. If you have a billboard at school you can print off and post this flyer to help advertise. Thank you and keep on playing! Music is Life!

If anyone has any qualifications in music/music tech or any past experience and they would like to help with a project message [The Dark Lord].
This project will be for the good of Musmakers and any other musicians who need help. So we need experienced people or people with some kind of musical qualification.

So you think that it's a pain to upload all those 30 images from the last concert? Not anymore! You can with a few clicks (and a lot of waiting for the upload to finish...) create a wiki-page for them.
If you go to your house, you'll see a button on top of it with the text "Upload a folder of images".
That is an easy way to upload an entire photo-album to a wiki-page in just a few clicks. You just create a ZIP-file (See How to create a zip-file) and upload that, and MusMakers will create a wiki-page for you with all the photos.
Note: Both Internet Explorer and Opera seem to have some problems with uploading huge files, but Mozilla and Firefox work (Download from: http://www.elf

This is just a reminder:
If you come from Elftown and such places, it might seem as if this is a very quiet place, but it's just very different. Most MusMakers only upload a few songs a year, but there are still 55 new songs last month that you can listen to and comment.
Eventhough there is no one online when you're here, there are almost 100 people that will take a look here sooner or later. You just have to have some patience, but it's not like you need instant comments on your songs.
By the way: If you manage to make a song together with people you've met here, I'll reserve a news-place for your song!
Update: In case you wonder how to create your own personal style web-page here on MusMakers, I've written this help:
HOWTO make a real web-page on MusMakers

Musmakers Audiocast will be a short broadcast every once in a while. It will help bringing relatively unknown songs to the public, and of course, it will also be a nice thing to spend your time with.
To get this thing started, we'll need some people to help out. If you have ideas, questions, comments, concerns...Let us know! We value your input, remember that the site staff is here to put your ideas to work!
So if you want to help out, stop by and sign up!

You can now write titles on images. This is mostly useful if you are having images on exported wiki-pages and want them to be found in Google's image-search. Write the title you want by writing it inside parenthesis immediately after the image-tag. Like this:

Second place winner is [Orestez] with <URL:stuff/
To award these three members for their good work, 100 rating points will be given to the first place winner, 50 rating points to the second place winner and 20 rating points to the third place winner. A song about schoolyard love, inspired by real life - That is what this Featured Song is all about. In [Vintage Rhymes and Valentines]'s words, it is only "a pretty simple pop song" - but it is more than that.
The tune is addictive and you feel yourself starting to sing along after your first listen. I recommend listening to it at least twice! :)
Now we've just got to wait him to branch out to making songs with his favourite instrument - the ukelele!

It's our favourite little dark snail, [Keyshika]! We're featuring the first song she ever created, though she assures us that she has new and better ones hiding away somewhere! Don't forget to encourage her to upload them!
Snowflakes is a pretty, melodic tune - sometimes sweet, sometimes haunting. We must of course thank bands like Pain of Salvation, Opeth and Nightwish for influencing [Keyshika] in her musical endeavours.
Enough chit-chat! Go and read the full interview at Featured Song - 136.Snowflakes and listen to the song!
